Great spot for brunch! The Ratatouille frittata was delicious—full of roasted veggies, feta, and fresh pesto. Generous portions, tasty flavors, and a nice, relaxed vibe. I’d definitely come back.

A vancouver staple which hasn’t lost its shine. I hadn’t been in for dinner for years and was asking myself why have I waited so long to come back. The flavours and attention to detail have not faltered. Highlights for me that evening being Les Calamars Farcis, Moules Frites Coquotte, and the Tajine d’Aziz à l’Agneau. And I also had a taste of Le Canard and it was awesome. All of it delicious. I also love the room. There’s an energy here that is unique, one of a kind. Even just stopping by for a seat at the bar and having a cocktail is a groove. Thought I should also mention that some m years ago I did come by for brunch a few times and it was excellent though I hadn’t written bout it back then. I see the offerings have changed but no doubt still excellent. Thank you for keeping the vibe alive guys!

Amazing service, hospitality and food. The team ensured that every need of ours was attended too and also ensured that we had a great experience. The team was polite, friendly , knowledgeable and thoroughly professional.
The food was amazing. The tuna and the steak were cooked to perfection with amazing flavours. The carpacio was spot on. The cocktails were mind blowing.
A thoroughly delightful gastronomic experience.

Food here is fantastic. The fricassee is the must-try for us. If they ever take it off the menu I will stop going lol. I will gladly do the 3ish hour drive from Seattle just to have brunch here. 10/10 can’t recommend it enough

Yummy yummmm dum dum. This is the sister restaurant of Medina Cafe, but with much more space and less of a wait time. They basically have the same menu and the same Belgian waffles… idk why people don’t just come here. It’s also owned by the same person. The shakshouka was great, and the person I was dining with was dying over the waffles 😹 Really great experience, especially because of no wait time on a Saturday morning

This spot is excellent if you enjoy a fine dinning experience with excellent service, delicious food and a great atmosphere. We had a set menu and every bite was so good. The portions were quite generous for our main and their cocktails are well balanced.

Chambar delivers a stunning backdrop for weddings with its warm brick interior, thoughtful design, and exceptional cuisine that guests always remember.
I photographed a wedding here and loved how the space transitions through the day. From a lively cocktail hour to an elegant reception dinner, the team at Chambar made the logistics feel seamless! The private dining areas and adaptable layout make it great for both intimate celebrations and more lively receptions.

We went for a “pre show” meal (David Letterman at the QE Theatre). From the second we arrived, the staff was incredible. The Hostess welcomed us, a very personable (and super stylish) young person enthusiastically guided us to the most perfect table. Once there, our server Kenzie let us know that she would “time out” our dinner to make showtime. She was fabulous. Both Brian and I have extensive restaurant experience (both front and back of house) we agree that this was TOP NOTCH service. We crushed dinner.

Our time at Chambar was great! They are a young and energetic staff with amazing and creative drink options, and a good dine-out tasting menu. The Wagyu carpaccio was super tasty, and the New York steak was cooked perfectly, and was super tender and very flavourful. I didn’t understand the salad, but I wasn’t upset with it. The potatoes were my girlfriend’s favourite haha. The atmosphere is really lux, and my girlfriend and I enjoyed our time here! They also have the biggest beer selection I’ve seen, would definitely recommend and I would come back when we are in Vancouver again.
